"The Ironies of Life or World Upside Down"
JUST SENTENCE?
09/27/2016

Yesterday Monday 26 daily National Review, in its online edition, published the news of the sentence,  issued by Judge Mark C. Fleegle, in the trial of the 21-year-old Emely Weaver, who was sentenced to life for killing her baby immediately after birth, in April 2014.
It's not a fortuitous event that I brought up you this news. Nor is mere whim or morbid sensationalism. I want to appeal to a great wake-up call, to move to true reflection of our consciences and not be a simple "Oh my God" followed by a prayer asking the Creator to save us from evil, and it is settled our Christian duty.

Certainly is a deplorable crime that made the young woman, who at the time it arrived at her 19. It was something terrible and evil. But is it worse the Emely crime -up to the point of deserving the life sentence- which committed daily thousands of pregnant women who "disposed" the lives of their babies weeks before birth, and so even crueler?

The journalist Jay Nordlinger writes: "I cannot believe it. And I think we are in a deeply hypocritical society ". I fully agree with him, even if we remember that last year (2015) some 80 million abortions were recorded worldwide, excluding those unaccounted for, and are estimated exceed 40 MILLION; many more deaths than those caused by all wars since the "Great War".

The Emile Weaver harsh sentence for his crime is opposed to the celebration of the right to abortion as a sign of progress. The feminist lobby is about to score a victory if the UN declare September 28 as "International Day of Safe Abortion". One wonders why Emile could have ended the life of her baby just weeks before a Planned Parenthood center, by the dismemberment of their limbs and mechanical aspiration of his head, and couldn’t smother him in the campus bathroom, while he attached her by the umbilical cord? What happens in the course of a week or two, so that what was once right now is an abominable crime?

Gosh what neglected am! I forgot that the main argument used by "the experts" on abortion -including transnational Planned Parenthood, Hillary Clinton, Esperanza Aguirre and you stop count- is that before birth "no human life but only one set cell”.

A society that promotes abortion and condemns such hardness infanticide is morally and legally dissociated society. How horrible, how disgusting, we can’t endure the sight of a baby in a trash bag, but what they think they are full dumpsters centers abortions worldwide, after dismember and sell their organs and tissues, excluding those which are dissolved in acid?

But the matter does not end here. Why a judge preys so harshly against an immature young woman, who is just beginning to live, if there is also a legal precedent (precisely in the nation where legal precedents have weight) of a similar case in 2002 where the judge, Howard S. Zwelling, he issued three-year sentence?
It is simply a clear message to American women. Fourteen years later they were "encouraged" to abort: commutation of sentence or life imprisonment, what do you prefer?

Recently I retwitee an article published in LifeSiteNews.com about the case of the girl Allison was ordered and forced to abort in one of the clinics of Planned Parenthood, after going for a pregnancy test. But it should not surprise us that nothing happens, much less after the prolife activist David Daleiden make public the 14 videos where the transnational abortionist and its super-lucrative selling organs business were unmasked, and therefore, Daledein, was about to lose his freedom.

Will we continue praying, tearing our clothes and giving chest beating or charge fully aware of what is coming at us if we do not take action on the matter and decided to take a step forward in the battles that we must fight every day?

No time to keep meditating waiting for others to act. Let us make our own the words of St. Augustine: "Pray as if everything depended on God. It works as if everything depended on you".
